Christopher Frederick, known to his fans as “Fred,” is host of The Fred Show – the nationally-syndicated morning show originating from iHeartMedia Chicago’s 103.5 KISS FM (WKSC-FM). Each morning on the popular, long-running program, Fred and his unique cast of characters, including Kaelin, Rufio, Paulina, Showbiz Shelly, Jason Brown and Keke, bring their energetic brand of entertainment, fun and laughs to listeners every day. After more than a decade of success in Chicago, the program joined Premiere Network’s national lineup in March 2023. Following on-air stints in Austin, Texas, and Charlotte, North Carolina, Fred landed his dream job as the morning personality at 103.5 KISS FM in 2011. A wannabe travel blogger, Fred is also a licensed commercial pilot and a volunteer aviator for “Pilots N Paws,” a national organization that assists in relocating adoptable rescue animals to new forever homes and shelters. He is philanthropically active, participating in boards and events for myriad causes including The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Alzheimer’s Association, Make A Wish, PAWS Chicago and Cal’s Angels.
